What time are the Lottery Sambad results declared?
Lottery Sambad (Nagaland, Sikkim and West Bengal Dear lotteries) are drawn three times every day: the 1 PM morning draw, the 6 PM evening draw, and the 8 PM night draw. We publish the Nagaland and Sikkim State results here within minutes of each official draw.
How do I check if my lottery ticket won?
Open the result page for your draw date and time, then type your ticket number into the "Check your ticket" box. It instantly tells you whether your number matches the 1st, consolation, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th prize. Always cross-verify with the official PDF before claiming.
How can I claim my Lottery Sambad prize?
Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the draw date. For amounts up to ₹10,000 you can claim from an authorised lottery seller or stockist. For larger amounts, submit the original winning ticket, a completed claim form, government photo ID and passport-size photographs to the State Lottery Directorate.
Is there tax on lottery winnings in India?
Yes. Under Section 194B of the Income Tax Act, lottery winnings above ₹10,000 attract a flat 30% TDS, plus applicable surcharge and cess (an effective rate of about 31.2%). The prize amount you receive is after this deduction.
What is the consolation prize?
The consolation prize is awarded to tickets that share the same number as the 1st prize but belong to a different series. In the Dear lottery it is ₹1,000 per ticket for all remaining series of the first-prize number.
How much is the Lottery Sambad first prize?
The Dear lottery first prize is ₹1 Crore (₹1,00,00,000). There is also a consolation prize, a 2nd prize, and 3rd, 4th and 5th prizes with progressively smaller amounts.
Is this the official lottery results website?

Is Lottery Sambad legal to play?
State lotteries are regulated under India’s Lotteries (Regulation) Act, 1998. Nagaland, Sikkim and West Bengal are among the states that permit and conduct state lotteries, including the Dear lottery series. Rules vary by state — some Indian states ban lottery sales entirely — so check your own state’s regulations before purchasing a ticket.
What does the weekly lottery name like "Dear Spark Wednesday" mean?
Each of the three daily draws (1 PM, 6 PM, 8 PM) runs as its own named weekly series that repeats on the same weekday every week — for example, the 1 PM Nagaland draw is always "Dear Spark Wednesday" on Wednesdays. Every result page links to the same slot from exactly one week earlier so you can compare a series against itself over time.
Can I check results from previous days?
Yes. Every draw we publish stays permanently available in our archive, organised by state and date. Use the "Old Results" link in the navigation, or open the date-specific link at the bottom of any result page, to browse past draws.
What if I lose my winning ticket?
A lottery ticket is a bearer instrument — whoever holds the physical ticket can claim the prize, so a lost ticket generally cannot be reissued or claimed without it. Keep winning tickets somewhere safe and report a loss to the State Lottery Directorate as soon as possible; policies vary by state.
